Connectivity | PSTN & ISP
There is finally some relief to the out-of-balance rates local carriers have
been able to get away with in the past. This is due, as it is in any free market, to competition. The
high quality digital circuits that were only affordable to larger corporations can now be included in the
circuit restructuring plans of most organizations. ISDN Primary Rate Interface ,
T1, and SIP Trunks
are just a few examples of how COMTEC can help you realize a positive return with newer technology.
Connectivity | IP Networking
Another exciting way we can help eliminate recurring communication expenses is
to use the free Internet Backbone to communicate between offices or even remote workers. Though the
technology is far off from providing the voice quality of an expensive point-to-point T1 line, IP
networking is still being implemented because of the obvious cost benefits. And in addition to the
trade-off of for a small degree of voice quality reduction, IP networking can also offer multi-location
organizations benefits such as a dynamic allocation of bandwidth and cost-effective feature transparency.
The two dominate forms of IP networking are IP E&M (Ear & Mouth) & IP Campus. IP E&M provides intercom and
dial tone access from remote locations. IP Campus provides feature transparency across the “campus,”
including centralized voice mail, button lights on station instruments and ACD.
Please keep in mind, if these types of circuits are not designed and implemented
correctly, any positive returns will vanish into thin air. As a small business, we understand how partners
can impact operations. When COMTEC designs connectivity plans, we not only draw from 26 years of experience
in the industry, we look at legacy, current and future technologies that will best suit our client’s needs.
